A special show of the epic period action drama film “RRR” directed by S. S. Rajamouli was arranged on the 13th of April 2022 by English Literary Society of the College for MA English students. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris. It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), and their fight against the British Raj. The event was organised by Dr Vikas Bhardwaj, Associate Professor of English.
Dr Geeta Goyal, Dr Vikas Bhardwaj, Dr Manjula Goel and Ms. Richa Langyan (The Secretary of English Literary Society) accompanied the students to Cine Square Multiplex at Padma City Mall. As many as 80 students from MA English Final and Previous watched and enjoyed the show. Dr Sanjay Goyal, Principal of the College, Dr Rajbir Parashar, the Head, and Dr Naresh Garg, the President of the Society congratulated the students for participating in this cultural event.
