Dr S.P.Verma, Assistant Professor, organised “A Poetry Recitation Activity” for B.A.IInd (Sec F) year students under the aegis of the Dept of English. A good number of students from the class participated in it quite enthusiastically. Some of titles presented were- “First Day in College”, “Desire”( by S.T.Coleridge), “Nature is English”, “Fire and Ice”(Robert Frost),”Independence Day”,”End of School”,”Nature”,”Life” etc. Dr S P Verma also presented a poem entitled ” English is the New Mother-Tongue of India”. On popular demand almost the whole class sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star How I Wonder What You Are”. Dr Sanjay Goyal,Principal,R.K.S.D.(P.G.) College,Kaithal motivated the students for such activities to strenthen their English language skills in near future also.
