Lecture and poster making competition on natural disaster was organized by the Geography Department of the evening session. R at this event. K. S. D. Prof. Raghuvir Lamba, Chairman of Geography Department of (PG) College, provided information to students on the subject of natural disaster as keynote speaker. He said that natural disasters coming is a natural process. About 50 % of India’s land is sensitive which is not human living but humans have tried to make their home by forcibly messing with nature. What causes these natural disasters, shared some interesting information about geography with students. In the poster making competition, students created posters related to different types of natural disasters in which prizes were awarded to Ritu, Preeti and Deepak. At the end of the programme, the Principal in-charge of the evening session Dr. Harinder Gupta considered the event beneficial for the students and congratulated the Geography Department. The stage was conducted by Prof. Sanyogita Sharma, the Chairman of the Geography Department of the evening session and along with the students related to Geography. Provided the information.
