An ‘Interaction cum Workshop’ organized in college under the ‘Lakshya Achievement Promotion Scheme (LPPY)’

An ‘Interaction cum Workshop’ was organized for the students selected under the ‘Lakshya Achievement Promotion Scheme (LPPY). Under this scheme, talented students are selected through examination and scholarships are provided for the preparation of competitive exams. This scholarship of Rs 5 lakh is given every year by the city’s well-known industrialist and former student Sushil Bansal. Sushil Bansal himself attended today’s program as the chief guest. The program was started by Principal Dr. Sanjay Goyal with the welcome speech of the chief guest. He congratulated all the students on being selected and expressed hope for excellent results from them. Dr. Geeta Goyal, coordinator of the scheme, discussed through PPT the achievements of all the selected students for the last 3 years 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and told that this scheme is proving to be very beneficial for all the students. He told that Sushil Bansal provided a grant amount of Rs 5 lakh to the organization for their bright future so that they can avail the benefits of this assistance by availing books, newspapers, competition based material, relief in fees etc. 69 students from all three years were called. Students like Priya, Aditya, Vibha, Babita, Pooja, Vipul, Aastha etc. inspired everyone by sharing their pleasant experiences.
While addressing the students, Sushil Bansal said that hard work is required for a higher purpose, whatever should be done, he assured that he will continue to make every possible contribution in the future also.
The stage was moderated by Dr. Vishal Anand, Dr. Ritu Walia. Thanking the guests at the end of the program, Dr. Manoj Bansal said that all the beneficiaries should distribute similar support in the society in future.
