Department of Economics

About

Established in 1954, the Department of Economics at RKSD (PG) College, Kaithal has earned a strong reputation as a premier center for teaching and learning Economics in the region. The founding faculty included distinguished educationists like Sh. M.L. Grover, Dr. M.N. Sharma, and Sh. K.K. Aggarwal. Sh. B.K. Gupta served as the founding Faculty and Head of the Department.
Later, Dr. Virander Goyal joined as regular faculty on 26-02-2008 and subsequently became the Head of the Department. In 2013 and 2020, Dr. Suraj Walia and Dr. Ritu Walia also joined as regular faculty members.

At present, the Department offers:
