Activities:

  • A webinar on ‘Blood donation’ was conducted on 26th July 2021 via google meet. Dr.  Nirupama, District level blood coordinator was the resource person.
  • The NSS units of the college observed Hiroshima day on 6-08-2021 by creating posters.
  • The college celebrated the 74th Independence Day on 15-08-2021.The programme started with NSS prayer by the volunteers. Principal Dr Sanjay Goyal hoisted the National Flag. A tribute video was released through the facebook page of the college to pay honour to all covid heroes who strengthen and support the nation for the fight against covid.
  • The NSS units of the college organized a FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN on August 25, 2021 from the college main gate to the secretariat, Kaithal followed by a Seminar on “Mental health and Coping with Stress”.
  • The NSS units celebrated the 51st NSS Day on 24-09-2021.  Principal Dr. Sanjay Goyal hoisted the NSS Flag. NSS units of the college organized a series of events via google meet considering covid-19 pandemic.
  • The NSS units of the college conducted a district level Webinar in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra on “National Education Policy 2020” via google meet .
  • A three-day online training on ‘Disaster Management’ was conducted from 28th September, 2021 to 30th September, 2021. A Vaccination camp with the help of District administration was also organized in the college campus.
  • The NSS units of the college observed Gandhi Jayanthi on 2 October 2021. An online quiz competition was conducted through google forms. A Quote making competition on the topic “Independence of Gandhian ideology in modern era” was also organized.
  • The volunteers of NSS units of the college conducted a meeting on 27-08-2021 as part of Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week and took the integrity pledge for citizens. About 70 volunteers participated in the programme. After the meeting, the video of PO and volunteers taking the integrity pledge on the theme ‘Vigilant India Prosperous India were shared to the public through the media coverage.
  • A Webinar in association with the Red Cross Society of the college was organized on 28th October 2021 on “Gender Equity: Gender Awareness and Social Security “  The main guest was Surya Ishan, founder of Dwaya Charitable Society and State TG Justice Board Member and social activist.
  • An awareness talk on ‘Drug Abuse’ was organized on 30-10-2021. Around 100 students participated in the talk.
  • NSS PO’s and volunteers of the college took the pledge for the unity as a part of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekatha Divas on 31st October.
  • PO & volunteers distributed masks, sanitizers and plant saplings to the nearby surrounding areas of the college on 12th November, 2021. Around 45 volunteers participated in the programme.
  • NSS volunteers of the college created their videos while reading the preamble of constitution on the Constitution Day. Videos and photos were shared through the social media pages of the college. Volunteers also conducted cleanliness drive at home and in the nearby surroundings.
  • The NSS units of the college participated in a Webinar conducted by Sree Narayan College, Kollam titled ‘Oorjjam’ on 5-12-2021 as part of observance of international volunteer’s day.
  • A poster making competition for students was organized on 10-12-2021 as part of international Human Rights Day.
  • An Orientation programme for the newly registered NSS volunteers to inform them on the role of NSS in society and NSS calendar was conducted on 20 December, 2021. Principal Dr. Sanjay Goyal was the chief-guest.
  • A Vaccination Camp was organized in the college campus on 23rd December 2021.
  • The NSS units of the college organized a three day Webinar series from 12-01-2022 to 14-01-2022 via google meet as part of National Youth Day. The Webinar was conducted for students with the aim to improve their knowledge on Vivekananda’s views and ideologies. A Vaccination Drive was also organized on 13th Jan, 2022.
  • A cleaning programme was organized at the college premises on 23-01-2022. Around 100 first year volunteers and 50 second year volunteers participated.
  • The NSS units of the college celebrated Republic Day on 26-01-2022. The volunteers and POs planted saplings in college premises.
  • 28 NSS Volunteers were felicitated by Dr. Pardeep Dahiya, DC Kaithal on 3rd February, 2022 for their outstanding contribution in the Vaccination drive across different areas of the city.
  • A cleaning programme was organized by the NSS unit at the college premises on 07-02-2022. Around 60 volunteers in six groups cleaned the premises of the college.
  • A Seven Day and Night NSS Camp was conducted at the village Jagdishpura from 12th Feb, 2022 to 18th Feb, 2022. The camp was inaugurated by President Sh. Saket Mangal, Vice President Sh. Naresh Shorewala, Sh. Ashwani Shorewala, Secretary Sh. Pankaj Bansal, Treasurer Sh. Shyam Bansal and Principal Dr. Sanjay Goyal. Each day the camp started with NSS songs and prayers followed by yoga sessions. On the concluding day of the camp, Dr. D. S. Rana, overall NSS Coordinator NSS, KUK was the chief guest. Cultural activities, cleanliness drives, debates and discussions, poster and slogans exhibitions were parts of the daily routine of the camp.
  • A cleaning programme was organized by the NSS units at the college premises on 20-02-2022.
  • The NSS units of the college conducted a Webinar on ‘Women Empowerment and Reproductive Health’ on 6th March, 2022 as part of International Women’s Day in which 65 NSS volunteers participated.
