With the objective to spread awareness about facilities provided by the college in the College Library a ‘Library Orientation’ was organised by the Department of Economics for UG First Semester students of Economics under the guidance of Dr. Suraj Walia, Head Department of Economics. In this visit, college Librarian Dr. Naresh Kumar guided the students about various arrangements/facilities available in library such as how they can search books, how to use Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), different shelves of the books (like text books, reference books, and other important journals and magazines etc.,).
Librarian also highlighted the important e-resources available in the library and motivated the students to use them. Principal, Dr. Rajbir Parashar appreciated the effort of Department of Economics. More than 60 students visited the library. Mr. Harman Singh and Ms. Renu from students group co-ordinated the visit.
