  1. Identity Card

    • A student must always carry their Identity Card. Entry without an identity card is strictly prohibited.

  2. Disorderly Conduct

    • Moving about in a disorderly manner and creating disturbances is strictly prohibited. Students are expected to maintain discipline and respect the environment.

  3. Use of College Facilities

    • Students are encouraged to make use of the college library and common room for academic and recreational purposes.

  4. Dress Code

    • To maintain the academic environment, students must wear decent clothes at all times.

  5. Cleanliness

    • Students are expected to maintain cleanliness in the college campus and avoid littering.

  6. Queue System

    • Students should observe the habit of forming a queue whenever required, showing respect and order.

  7. Environmental Sensitivity

    • Students must be sensitive to the environment and ecosystem, contributing to its protection and sustainability.

  8. Notice Board Updates

    • It is important for students to regularly visit the notice board while entering and leaving the college to stay updated on important announcements.

  9. Use of College Name or Campus

    • No student is allowed to use the name or campus of the college for any publication or external activity without prior permission from the Principal.

  10. Parking and Safety

    • Vehicles should be parked only in the designated parking lots. Wearing a helmet is compulsory for all riders.

  11. Ragging

    • Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any involvement in ragging will result in severe disciplinary action.

  12. Indiscipline During College Activities

    • Indiscipline during any college activity or function will be treated seriously and may lead to punishment as deemed appropriate by the authorities.

Code of Conduct for Teachers

When a teacher adopts teaching as a profession, he/she assumes the obligation to conduct himself/herself in accordance with the ideal precedence and practices of the profession. A Teacher should co-operate and assist in carrying out t all the functioning of educational and administrative responsibilities of the college and university as per rules and regulations of the affiliating University, Government and University Grants Commission. The faculty should

  1. Ethical Professional Responsibility

    • Work ethically in discharging professional responsibilities and maintain the highest standards of integrity in all actions.

  2. Respect for Students

    • Respect the dignity of students while expressing opinions. Encourage students to improve their achievements and help develop their capabilities.

  3. Promotion of Values and Ethics

    • Inculcate values, ethics, and a scientific outlook among students to help them become responsible and thoughtful individuals.

  4. Respect Among Colleagues

    • Treat fellow members of the profession with respect, adhering to the ideals and standards of the profession, and communicate with colleagues in a respectful manner.

  5. Decency and Equality in Behavior

    • Behave decently with fellow colleagues, irrespective of their caste, religion, creed, or gender, promoting a harmonious working environment.

  6. Collaboration with Non-Teaching Staff

    • Treat non-teaching staff as colleagues and equal partners in the institution, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

  7. Cooperation for Institutional Development

    • Cooperate with the authorities for the overall development of the institution, keeping in mind the interests of students and the dignity of the profession.

  8. Awareness of Educational Programmes

    • Recognize that education is a public service and strive to keep the public informed about the educational programs offered by the institution.

  9. Community Service Participation

    • Participate in community service and contribute positively to the welfare of the community.

  10. Enhancing Moral and Spiritual Well-being

    • Work towards improving education in the community and strengthening the moral and spiritual well-being of the community.

Code of Conduct for Administrative Staff

Administrative staff/Non-teaching staff of the college should provide assistance in all the affairs/activities of the education institution other than teaching.  Administrative/Non-teaching staff should:

  1. Ethical Professional Responsibility

    • Work ethically in discharging professional responsibilities, adhering to the established rules and regulations of the institution.

  2. Cooperative and Friendly Relationships

    • Develop cooperative and friendly relationships with faculty members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment within the institution.

  3. Polite and Compassionate Behavior Towards Students

    • Behave politely, compassionately, and with respect towards students, ensuring a positive and encouraging learning environment.

  4. Adaptation to E-Administration

    • Continuously enhance individual skills to efficiently adapt to e-administration tools and processes, ensuring smooth and effective management of academic and administrative tasks.

Code of Conduct for Principal

The Principal should ensure quality, fairness and decorum in delivery of educational content and execution of overall works and activities of the institution. The prime responsibility of the Principal is to chalk out policy and plan to execute the vision and mission of the college. The Principal should form various college level committees/cells to achieve the goal of multifaceted development of the students.  College Principal should:

  • Mutual Respect

    • Respect the dignity of all members of both the teaching and non-teaching staff.

  • Ethical Conduct

    • Conduct oneself with transparency, honesty, fairness, and uphold ethical standards at all times.

  • Work Culture

    • Promote and maintain a healthy, inclusive, and productive work culture.

  • Student-Centric Activities

    • Promote and actively participate in extension, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities, keeping the best interests of students in mind.

  • Supportive Leadership

    • Provide motivational and inspirational support to all stakeholders, including students and teachers.

  • Professional Equality

    • Interact with fellow colleagues respectfully, regardless of caste, religion, creed, or gender, particularly in professional responsibilities.

  • Financial Responsibility

    • Monitor and manage all financial matters efficiently and with accountability.

  • Regulatory Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with the directives issued by the affiliating University, the State Department of Higher Education, and the UGC.

Code of Conduct for Governing Body

The Governing Body of the College, constituted as per rules and regulations of the affiliating University and Govt. of Haryana, is required to fulfil the mission and objectives of the College. Code of conduct to be abided by the members, office bearers and various nominees is well defined in relevant clauses of the calendar of the affiliating University. Further, the State Govt. also mandates strict compliance of its regulations to ensure lawful and transparent functioning.
