One Day Student’s workshop on Economic Survey 2020-21& Union Budget 2021-22 was organised by Economics Association of Department of Economics of the college. The workshop was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. S.K.Goyal with lamp lightening. Head of the Department, Dr. Virander Goyal extended warm welcome to Principal and students. In his inaugural talk, College Principal Dr. S.K.Goyal highlights the significance of budgetary provisions to understand the functioning of an economy and appreciates the Initiative taken by Economics Association. In this workshop, Five student speakers namely Rohit, Komal, Kushma, Loveleen and Pooja presented their views on various aspects of budget. Besides Dr. Ritu Kang Walia presented her talk on the topic ‘Economic Survey’ and Dr. Suraj Walia spoke on the topic ‘Union Budget: Key Highlights’. The session was chaired by Dr. Virander Goyal, Head of the Department. In the end, Dr. Goyal gave concluding remarks on all the presentations and appreciated the Student’s efforts. Radhika student of BA III acted as stage secratary with Dr. Ritu Kang Walia. On this occasion, Dr. Anil Narula and Dr. Ashok Attri were also present.
