Today twenty Students of Department of Economics have participated in symposium on the topic, ” Why Professional Higher Education Becomes a Must in Post COVID Environment” organised by Edumate TV, New Delhi and powered by Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad. The event was hosted by Mr. Chetan Sharma, Founder Edumate TV under the broad theme ‘The Class of 2020’. Faculty members of Department of Economics Dr. Virander Goyal ( Head of Department), Dr. Suraj Walia and Dr. Ritu Kang Walia were also present during the Symposium. Komal Goel (B.A. IV Sem), Sapna Demla ( B.A. IV Sem), Sahil Goyal (B.A. IV Sem), Rohit Dhiman ( B.A. IV Sem), Kartik ( B.A. IV Sem) raised their questions for panelists and the resource persons. Beside these, Neha, Avni, Kanish, Vandana, Mohit Dua, Nikita, Ruhi, Tanu Sharma and many others have also attended the Symposium. One of our student, Komal Goel also presented her self written poem in this event which was appreciated by all. During the event, student also enjoyed an opportunity to listen many resource persons from different backgrounds. The event was also attended by students of other selected colleges of India. For this active participation, College Principal Dr. Sanjay Goyal congratulated the faculty of Department of Economics and students who have actively participated in the event.
