The literary committee of Rksd PG College,Kaithal organised a National level online poetry recitation competition wherein students were asked to send a two to three minutes video reciting their self composed poem on topics like human values,contemporary economic situation,women empowerment, environmental concerns etc. in either English,Hindi,Haryanavi or Sanskrit language. Entries received were from colleges of Ambala,Jhajjar,Yamunangar, Delhi,Chennai,Kolkata,Kurukshetra etc. Gurleen Kaur from Government College, Ambala, Mansal Behl from K L Mehta Dayanand College, Faridabad and Shivani from RKSD PG College, Kaithal grabbed first, second and third places respectively. Principal Sanjay Goyal congratulated the winners and the members of the literary club and said that such literary activities not only strengthen the linguistic abilities of students but also play a valuable role in their personality development. Prof Geeta Goyal convened the entire programme. Dr Vinay Singhal and Dr S P Verma were the coordinators and Prof Richa Langyan and Dr Matish Garg were the organising secretaries of the event.
