A General Quiz on English grammar was organized for the students of B.A.-1 Section D coordinated by Prof.Naresh Garg and wholly managed by students in Room no. 119 on 13/09/2019. Three teams i.e. Arundhati Roy, Stephen Hawking and Benjamin Mclnae consisted of three students each were constituted. A total nine students i.e. Naresh, Priyanka , Kusum, Babita, Sonia, Seema, Ayush, Amit and Manish participated in it. Total three rounds i.e. Translation round, Interchange of tense and passive voice and change the sentence as per instruction were conducted. After each round, questions were asked from audiences also. Manish, a student of MA English final played the role of quiz master. Harpal shouldered the responsibility of scorer and Partap took the charge as time keeper. Navdeep handled the photography and video making with his latest mobile. Report was prepared by Babita. At last, team Stephen Hawking became the winner with a huge margin. The whole atmosphere was charged with excitement and enthusiasm. The head of the department Dr.Rajbir Parashar appreciated the efforts of students in managing the quiz so efficiently. The Principal Dr.S.K.Goyal inspired the students for participating more in these types of academic activites. At last Prof.Naresh Garg thanked everyone for making the event a grand success.
