Dr. Richa Bhardwaj, Associate Professor of English, Institute of Integrated and Honours Studies, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra delivered an Extension Lecture on 31 January 2020 to the students of MA English students on D. H. Lawrence’s Sons and Lovers, a prescribed text in the syllabus of MA English. She was welcomed by the Principal of the College Dr. S. K. Goyal and other faculty members of the Department. Dr. Bhardwaj elaborated upon the author’s biography and its influence on the text, Oedipal situation in the novel and other related aspects. This lecture was organized under the aegis of English Literary Society by Dr. Manjula Goel with the help of Literary Society office-bearer Dr. S. P. Verma. The speaker was introduced to the students by MA Final student Pramjeet. Dr. Geeta Goyal gave a vote of thanks to the speaker after the completion of the talk. The students listened to the lecture very attentively. Other faculty members Dr. Vikas Bhardwaj, Mr Naresh Garg, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Richa Langyan, Mr. Krishan along with some old students Mohit, Rahul and Baby remained present on this occasion.
